"Eating before bed makes you gain weight"

Not so! Eating in a surplus throughout your day will cause you to gain weight. It does not matter what time of day you eat, it matters the amount you are taking in vs the amount of your energy output.


Eating right before bed may impact your sleep quality or cause you to not be hungry for breakfast but that act of eating close to bed time is not the cause of weight gain.
