The cardio you choose should be based on your specific goals. From there you should factor in capabilities, functionality, time available and recovery cost. But most of all the cardio you select should be one that you can commit to consistently.
I think everyone should include cardio on some level to maintain overall cardiovascular health, and as we know it can also be utilized as a weight management tool. Try not to get lost in what the latest podcast says is best for your age, gender or fat burning. Build your consistent habit and then you can work in some of the nuances.
